Timelapse

For this practical task, I decided to create a short timelapse video. Since the idea of using a timelapse has popped up alot within our discussions, I decided that I wanted to show what we're looking for, what we wanted to do is have a timelapse of the public walking past out protagonist to show how isloated she is. I managed to make this by taking a 5mintute video and speeding it up 16 times, I had to smooth out the effect and decrease the shutter speed and apply a stabilisation effect from After Effects. The end result is shown above. Overall, with the use of a better tripod and a longer video, I think the timelapse is a great way to show the change in time through a cool effect, I would say to improve my video I should've done it during the day to show the change in lighting as mine was done during the dark.I also could've had added some classical non-copyrighted music to enchance the effect or overall make it a higher quality but since it was only a 16 secound timelapse I decided against it.
