Making a sound effect
Making the sound
To make the sound effect I tried many different things to create the effect of dripping water. I tried a spoon on a glass, a spoon on a mug and a pencil on a glass, but all of these sounds were to high and metallic for it to sound like water. In the end the only way to get something to sound like water was to use water so I half filled a glass with water and slowly turned on the tap so that it dripped rather than ran.
Over a video
I struggled to find a video on the internet that was suitable for this sound effect so I filmed one of my own. I found a pipe inside a toilet at home that was dripping and the pipe was covered in lime scale which could be in a sewer if I had the correct lighting.
Here is the final video with the sound effect overlapped.

Evaluation
This sound effect is easy to make and overlap with video. I think even though the sound effect was made by dripping a tap it needs an echo as it would be used as left over rain in a tunnel which would have a more hollow sound where as the sound I have created sounds more like the tick of a clock. To achieve this I would drip the tap into a bigger container rather than a small glass so the sound can bounce off more of the surface, the rest would have to be done in editing.
